Your favorite downtown summer festival series kicks off again tonight with performers Jennie Arnau and StephaniesID, benefiting the YMCA’s Strong Kids Campaign. Food and drinks are available on site. The party starts at 5:00pm (natch) under the I-240 bridge on South Lexington Avenue downtown. This is the 22nd year for the popular street festival.
Break out your pencil and calendar and make a note: Dehlia Low is scheduled to play the Grey Eagle on Friday, May 28. They recently played MerleFest where they were well received. The video above is from an upcoming feature on “Jammin’ at Hippie Jack’s”, which is going out on PBS.
